Update 9/8/09: Although it is not stated in the Registration Booklet or online information, a player may not sign up for more than one age group in any event. In addition, he/she may sign up to play in Open Division events.
Senior Division – November 2-6, 2009
The 19 & over and 35 & over age groups have been added. See the Schedule of Events for details.
Age groups will begin at 50 and go up in 5-year increments (50+, 55+, 60+, etc.). Age group eligibility for doubles and mixed doubles will be determined by the age of the youngest player on the team. If there are not enough participants in any age group, age groups may be
combined. In that case, the top three players in each age group will win awards in their own age group.
Masters and Legends are separate Senior Division events of Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles consisting of teams playing in the 50-64 year age group (Masters) and those playing in the 65+ year age group (Legends). Eligibility for either Masters or Legends will be determined by the age of the youngest player on the team.
Open Division – November 6-8, 2009
This division of play is open to all players regardless of age. Registrants will be asked to identify their level of play by self evaluation or tournament ratings: 5.0 or better, 4.5, 4.0 or 3.5, with 5.0 or better being the top rating, 4.5 being the next level, and 4.0 being the next lower rating. Please call the Tournament Director if you need help determining your rating (206-818-1462 or 425-908-7866).
Open division winnners will receive trophies and cash prizes ($500 Gold, $250 Silver, $125 Bronze).
Junior Division – November 6-8, 2009
