Hart Ranch Camping Resort Lat: 43.957329 Lng: -103.215286	Rapid City Map	SD	Outdoor: 4 Private	Plans to convert one of their nice, lighted, fenced tennis courts into pickleball by the end of June, 2007 are now done. There are now 4 (09) pickleball courts. This is a superb 5W/5W RV resort with cabins located in a beautiful area of the Black Hills, long overdue to have pickleball. You can stay at this resort under C2C and RPI Preferred, plus now a special arrangement with Thousand Trails too. If you come there to play, be sure to let the Manager know that's why you came.
Rushmore Shadows Resort Lat: 43.972046 Lng: -103.330711	Rapid City Map	SD	Outdoor: 1 Private	1 decent outdoor court, no fence or night lighting, on Sports Court matting (nice!), last stayed there 10-1-06 under ROD membership ($0/day). It's a very nice RV resort in a convenient central area of the Black Hills area just south of Rapid City. It's a favorite of ours. It's under C2C and ROD+ memberships. NEW ADDITION - My wife and I stayed 2 weeks at Rushmore Shadows this summer. The pickleball courts look nice, BUT they do not have any nets and nothing was said about acquiring any. :( But that is ok too because we joined Hart Ranch and enjoyed several games there. Badminton Places to Play

If you are unable to find a place to play pickleball, check out some of the links for places to play badminton. A pickleball court is the same size as a doubles badminton court. Just lower the net to 3 feet (34 inches at the center) and you are ready to go. Start your own group and watch it grow.
