The "EOY Rating List" has now been posted! Between posting the "End Of Year Rating List" and rating many other players for the first time, there are over a hundred players with new ratings or rating changes in the last week alone. Everyone is responsible for knowing their next years ratings. You should note that your EOY rating may have changed since you last looked!!

After we have completed various End of Year tasks which will take some time, we will post a link on this page where ratings can be appealed. Because of some confusion this year in posting our "End Of Year Rating List", everybody will be eligible to appeal their rating in 2009 if desired. We will attempt to have everything in place by January 15 at the latest!

We have partially rewritten many sections in this document to better reflect our current practices and new developments in our rating system since we first began. It now covers who can make rating appeals and when they can be made. It also covers our End of Year Rating List which is being published for the first time as of October 1st, 2008. After going through our first End Of Year Rating List Posting, we need to update this document again.

All rated players entering sanctioned rated tournaments are required to enter events which are rated the same or higher than their official USAPA rating. Players will not be eligible for points in any tournament in which they are in violation, and could incur further penalties! Doubles teams may not enter events which are rated lower than the rating of the highest rated partner!
