Four hundred athletes from around the county have gathered at Bryant University for the four-day National Senior Games Championship Festival. In addition to hockey, billards and weight lifting, the seniors are playing Pickleball. Pickleball started around 1960 and is the fastest growing sport for seniors in the country. It is played with a paddle and a whiffle ball similar to pingpong and tennis. Providence Journal video by Frieda Squires.
